Motorbike Trip

Over midterm break I went to Isaan in Northeast Thailand with Jeff and Tencic. We took a 6 hour, 3rd class train for less than $2. Here are some pictures from the train ride there:

We motorbiked from Khon Kaen to Loei and here is what our  directions looked like...I was very skeptical that we were going to make it but we actually did without getting lost at all

Talad Rot Fai

This is the an old train station made into a night market in downtown Bangkok. It is the hipster hub of the city. Read up a little: http://bangkok101.com/2011/04/talat-rot-fai/

Pool Hopping

Yesterday, Erica, Dana, and I went to the main river in Bangkok, the Chao Praya. The river runs through the entire city and empties out into the Gulf of Thailand. Its banks are home to some very posh hotels. We spent the day at the Millennium Hilton roof pool..all we had to do was make up a room number!

Look familiar mom?

After our pool session we enjoyed a little sauna and hot tub action and then treated ourselves to a hot shower
