Last month I spent two weeks in Malaysia. The first few days I was on mainland Malaysia in Penang and Kuala Lumpur and the rest of the time I was in Malaysian Borneo.
Here is the city of Georgetown in Penang, Malaysia
Georgetown is an old British colonial town but with strong Chinese, Malay, and Indian influences. The food was unreal.

Every evening there is a giant bat exodus where millions of bats leave their caves to go hunting. It was really cool.

We also spent a couple nights on "Survivor Island," where the first season of Survivor was filmed

We spent the remainder of our trip in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Borneo.
